History of the new library
In September, 2004, voters approved a
bond that will enable Snoqualmie to be
home to a larger, up-to-date library. KCLS
selected a site at the corner of
Snoqualmie Parkway and Center Boulevard.
The builder/architect team was chosen
on March 6, 2006. A public meeting with
the design team on June 13 was attended by
about 50 people.
A second public meeting, on Tuesday,
August 22, was attended by about 30
people.
Groundbreaking occurred in December
2006 and the new 6,000 square foot library
opened on August 1, 2007.
